  • I love this place! Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted warmly by the staff as well as the clients. There were two clients who suggested to us which plates we should try at this restaurant (citizens in Porto like to socialize with others, including tourists). We went with their suggestions and oh boy I was not disappointed. Everything was so delicious! I went to many restaurants in my life and this one was one of my favorites. I even preferred this restaurant over the Gordon Ramsay restaurants in Las Vegas! This is a great place to try out authentic Portuguese food. You should definitely pay a visit to this place. P.S. My apologies if I don't have more pictures. The plates were so good that we emptied most of them before even taking pictures.

  • In my opinion they serve here very good quality of food. We tried cheese board and ham and for the main course we took an octopus with potatoes and some vegetables. Everything was delicious.

  • Loved it! I consider this kind of restaurant a rare find and a place to dinne in. Serving is very good, atmosphere is rustic and people pay attention to the details. Food is very tasty and the meat is grilled in the restaurant. Veel grill is delicious. I can't recommend this more and wish the team stays coagulated for the future. Cheers

  • An absolutely amazing dinner at one of the hidden jewels of the traditional food from the “Trás-os-Montes” province! Greeted with a smile by the super professional and friendly staff, I was taken to the table and then got a tour to the outstanding wine cellar. I was amazed by the selection of wines from all over the world! After seating everyone, the food show started! From starters - the cold cuts and cheeses, the veal patty, the grilled chouriço, the wild boar stew and the “rojões” with chestnut were divine!! Then we move to the main dishes… and was amazing food they were!! From the Lamb chops, the “migas”, the beef and the unique cod with “alheira” we’re to die for! Everything was cooked to perfection, well seasoned and super tasty!! To finish we had a mix of desserts, including the famous turnips pudding. Yes, you read it correctly! Turnips pudding!! Amazing!!! It’s HIGHLY RECOMMENDED but be prepared to be eating for some hours as you will not want to leave!!

  • I had heard how wonderful this place was and even followed her on Insta but held off going to this place because I was a little worried that they might not speak English there , my bad ! Totally English speaking and menus, Phew ! . The food was magnificent and prepared with thought and passion , flavors bold and rich , this is a good place to eat family style, because you’ll want to taste everything. I loved how the wine was sold , there was a young wine wall that you’d walk up to and the bottles have a price tag hanging on it and you select your wine that way, there is also a old wine library (intimate size room, where you could even do a dinner party inside the room for 20 people) . There’s an open fire grill in the dining room and vaulted ceilings, that gives the place a warm and homey feel. The cadence of the dinner was efficient, but not rushed by any means. I’m soooo going back and recommend you all take the D line metro to the end of the line , then it’s just round the corner , GO!!

  • What a spectacular, delicious, amazing place to have dinner. Recommended by a local. We are staying in Porto and were a bit skeptical to go all over Gaia for dinner but it’s totally worth it! The service was IMPECABLE! The food was delicious, definitely a place to go if you want to try authentic Portuguese food.

  • Do not be put off by the unassuming street and entrance, this is just the most amazing restaurant. The food is incredible. Nose to tail eating cooked from the heart! I was lucky enough to have a special tasting menu and the lamb, octopus, beef, croquettes are just stand out. The wine menu is superb, take a taxi! Enjoy
